Workshops + Masterclass

 

How long does the Kind Mind Masterclass take?

Each workshop is designed to be completed in 2-4 weeks. Every modual builds upon the last. It's highly suggested that you do a lession a day to achieve ultimate results. You can revisit any of the lessons at anytime and it's suggested that you take them more than once. This insures that your neural synapses rewire to new and sustainable ways of thinking, believing, feeling, and behaving.

What if I only want to focus on one workshop?

Each workshop is built upon the foundation of the "Kind Mind" workshop. This is where you should start, even if you only want to focus on your body or relationships. Everything starts in your mind. You can find more info HERE.

How Can I Renew My Masterclass Membership?

Since none of the KIND MIND workshops or the masterclass automatically renews, you will need to purchase the Masterclass Membership once your membership term expires.

A couple of things to note:

You will receive an email the month prior to when your membership expires with a special offer & direct links for renewing your membership. Please be sure you have opted into marketing emails within your profile settings in Teachable. If you do not receive this email within your final month of membership, reach out to us at support@kindmind.me and we’ll help send you the link you need in order to sign back up.

Your new 12-month membership will begin upon purchase, so we recommend that you wait until your original membership expires before renewing. If you do choose to renew before your membership expires, please allow us up to two weeks to process the cancellation of your original membership & refund any charges that went through after you renewed.

Links provided w/in renewal emails are exclusive offers & it is prohibited to share these. We track IP addresses and can see if you share these codes. If you share them, you’ll be in direct violation of our Terms & Conditions and your membership will be revoked without refund.

How quickly can i experience results?

The beauty about this work is that you can see small shifts every day, to big ah-ha's! Every person is different. If you approach the work with an open heart and an open mind, you can expect that the lense you view yourself with will shift as you go about your day.

What if I don't see any results?

We do our best to ensure that you will feel more confident in your skin than you do now. However, if you're truely unsatasfied and after giving in your all, we will happily refund you within 14 days of purchasing the program. We hope you feel safe knowing that. To really cement the work, it is recommended that you do a lesson a day, and a deep visualization 3+ times a week.

I'm having a hard time dropping into the Guided Visualizations.

Your set and setting is everything. Check in with your mindset. Are you frenzied from the day? Do you keep checking your email/social media/texts? Is your ringer off? While you don't have to be fully "in the mood" for this work, it is helpful if your nervous system has had a chance to quiet itself.

If you tend to fall asleep, you may find it helpful to sit on the floor with your back supported, or in a chair. Being slightly uncomfortable will help you fall into the guided meditation more easily.

If you're having a hard allowing your subcontious mind come forth, grab your journal and start free flowing any thoughts that come to mind. It could be "My eye sees..." and fill in the blank (ie wall, flowers, your pet, your skin etc...)

If you're still feeling stuck, drop into the community forum (Masterclass students only) and connect with others who may have techniques that resonate with you.

Is Kaitlin available to anwer my questions personally?

The perk of being an exclusive member of KIND MIND'S Masterclass is that you will have direct access to the Member's Only Facebook Group. You will also have access to Kaitlin's monthy Office Hours, where she will answer all submitted questions. You can submit your 'Ask" at www.kindmind.me under the 'Ask Me' dropdown menu. Kaitlin is also active on Kind Mind's social media platforms, and will occasionally respond to comments there.

May I upgrade my workshop to join the Masterclass later?

If you've purchased an a la carte workshop and decide to upgrade to the KIND MIND Masterclass, you may receive a full refund of your workshop purchase if you purchase the Masterclass within 3 days of your registration. Reach out to our help department and they will work with you to sign up for the Masterclass. After 3 days there are no exceptions.

If I join the Masterclass later, will I get a discount?

At this time we don't offer discounts if you decide to join the Masterclass at a later date (after purchasing an a la carte workshop).

May I Share My Log-In Credentials?

This is an excellent question. We love that you want to help spread the word! We offer various discounts and opportunitties for your friends and family to join the Kind Mind community. With that said, we have to give you the legal low-down:

All purchases of KIND MIND'S content, including a la carte workshops and the Masterclass, are meant to only be viewed by the purchaser and cannot be shared with others. Sharing of login credentials is strictly prohibited and as a company we track IP addresses, login history & location, and profile history for suspected breaches of this policy. All purchased content including written, video, & audio is only available to view by logging in with your registered account credentials and cannot be copied or downloaded to a personal device for viewing or listening offline.

Upon purchase all customers acknowledge that they have denied the right to facilitate the use of the workshop material in private one-to-one sessions, either professionally or personally, with clients or others, for monetary gain or otherwise.

Additionally, purchasers agree not to teach the workshop content to others in any way, to groups or individuals, professionally or otherwise, for monetary gain or otherwise. Purchasers further agree not to post any text or video presentations of KIND MIND material, or demonstrations on the internet, or other electronic media.

Violations of this policy are considered unlawful and KIND MIND reserves the right to take legal action in cases of misconduct.

How can I join the Kind Mind community?

To join the KIND MIND Community Group, you will first need an active Masterclass membership - you can sign up here. Once you have a membership, you will want to login to your account & find the "Members Lounge" module within your members portal. You'll find the application to join there. alternatively, you can go directly to Facebook and login - search for 'KIND MIND' in groups. You can apply to join there. If you're account is canceled or if you decided to end your Kind Mind Masterclass membership, your community privileges will be revoked until you sign back up.

I'm a member but I can't seem to log into Facebook?

Make sure your Facebook login credentials are correct. You may need to reset your password if you've lost or forgotten it. This usually does the trick. There may be an issue with Facebook and if so, contact them directly BEFORE contacting KIND MIND. They will help you trouble shoot.

I think i was kicked out of the group, how may i rejoin?

If you are ever removed from the group, it is either due to a lapse in membership (such as your membership expiring or canceled due to failed billing) or due to not complying with the group guidelines. You will need an invitation to be accepted back into the group. Please contact us here to request an invitation.

Can i use an alias to be a memeber of the facebook community?

You must use your name as it appears on your KIND MIND membership in the Teachable app, as well as the email associated with your KIND MIND membership for verification purposes. If you do not have your first & last name in your Teachable profile, please go to your settings to update this prior to requesting admittance into the group.

 
 

Billing + Discounts

What form of payment do you accept?

Currently, the Teachable platform that we use to run our payment methods accepts the following debit or credit cards:

American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.

Teachable does not offer the ability to purchase a Teachable plan via PayPal.

Please note if you select the 12 month payment plan option for the Masterclass Membership, you will need to use a card that allows for recurring charges or this card may be declined.

Please also note we operate in USD and thus your charges will be made in USD, therefore, conversion rates apply.

Is there a sales tax applied to my purchase?

Residents of some states may notice an additional small fee on their billing receipt or monthly statement due to a sales tax administered by Teachable. Currently, this tax is applicable for 29 states, and you may find a complete list of states below. The tax charged will mirror your state’s specific sales tax rate.

Is GTS tax applied to my purchase?

Effective July 23, 2021, Teachable has introduced country-specific taxes for Australia and Chile. This means that Teachable will calculate, collect, and remit applicable taxes on purchases made by students over Teachable Payments and Monthly Payment Gateway. This is a 10% GST tax.

What is this tax? In general, purchases made by customers may be subject to the country-specific tax. This tax applies to any merchant selling a product or service (including digital products like an online course) to a customer based in a market where the tax is applicable.

So what now? All purchases through Teachable will be charged the country-specific tax. If you have a valid tax ID at the time of purchase, you will be allowed to enter the tax ID upon checkout and will not be charged the tax. This option will be made available at checkout if applicable.

Teachable will charge tax according to the location of the student, when applicable. If the student has a billing and shipping address is the U.S., taxes would be charged according to the U.S. state that they reside in.

If a student feels they have been taxed incorrectly they should submit a refund request to tax@teachable.com. This is out of KIND MIND's hands. The refund request should include a copy of the purchase receipt showing the tax paid and order ID, as well as a copy of their tax ID certificate or proof of tax exemption regulation.

May I get a refund?

KIND MIND Refund Policy You have 14 days from the time of purchase to be eligible for a refund. After the 14 days all purchases are final sale and refunds are not provided regardless of whether the student has logged in to view the content. KIND MIND maintains the right to refuse refund at any time. Store credit is not an option. Gifting or transfering your purchase is not an option.

There may be occasional glitches with the Teachable app or the website may experience downtime. KIND MIND will always work to resolve these outages as quickly as possible & report any bugs with the app to Teachable. No refunds will be provided with temporary access issues with the app or downtime with the site.

May I freeze My account or change my billing cycle?

Our billing system is automated through Teachable and we do not have the ability to freeze or skip payments or adjust the billing cycle for any students. KIND MIND Masterclass Students will be billed automatically every 30 days.

If you are a have a failed payment, the system will retry the charge 3 days later, 7 days later, and 14 days later. If your payment fails on the 14th day your plan will be cancelled and access will end. If payment has not been made, and you'd like to sign back up, you will not be able to apply previous dicounts, coupons, or promotions.

Feel free to reach out to support@teachable.com if you are unsure why your payment has failed and they can provide you with the reason code. Some common reasons are insufficient funds, expired or invalid (closed/old) card number, or a 'do not honor' block from your financial due to suspected fraud or other stipulations regarding reoccurring charges and your specific type of checking account or line of credit. You can also reach out to your financial system for more info as to why the transaction did not go through. Since Teachable hosts our content on their website, we do not have access to your billing information or the backend to look into what the issue is with your payment.

I haven’t logged in for a month, may I receive a discount for that month I missed?

All purchases are final sale and refunds are not provided for previous months of the Kind Mind Workshops or Masterclass regardless of whether the student has logged in to view the content.

May I extend my membership or my workshop?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to extend access to either the a la carte workshops or the Masterclass. There are no exceptions made to this policy as access time is automated through the Teachable platform and cannot be altered from the backend.

The a la carte workshops are meant to be a taste of the Big Mac daddy - the KIND MIND Masterclass. New students who are reluctant to commit to 12 months get to sample the KIND MIND work and start boosting their self-worth and self-esteem. It is usual that the a la carte students fall in love with the work and see shifts within themselves and they opt into the full membership. There is always work to do on yourself and that doesn't end when the workshops time out.

May I upgrade my workshop to join the Masterclass?

If you've purchased an a la carte workshop and decide to upgrade to the KIND MIND Masterclass, you may receive a full refund of your workshop purchase if you purchase the Masterclass within 3 days of your registration. After three days there are no refunds granted on workshops, no exceptions.

What do I do if my plan was canceled?

For any cancelled plans due to failed billing, as long as you reach out to us within 30 days of your plan cancelling, we can provide you with a unique/single use link to a plan with the accurate number of months remaining and a code to lock your previous rate! This way you don't have to repurchase another year long membership & can finish out your original term.

Beyond 30 days of your membership cancelling, you will need to repurchase a new 12 month Masterclass Membership and will be susceptible to the current rate.

When reinstating your KIND MIND Membership, the only payment option available will be to pay monthly for those remaining months. Buying out your membership will not be an option for reinstatement and is strictly reserved for those cancelling their membership early.

For all plans you will receive an automated email for each failed payment with a link to update your billing info. Once you have received an email that a payment has failed we encourage our members to look into this right away to get this resolved before your plan cancels. How Do I update my card on file?

To update your card on file with us, please follow the step by step instructions below:

1) Visit kindmind.school

2) Click login in the upper right hand corner & input your login credentials

3) Click your profile photo icon in the upper right hand corner

4) Select from the drop down "Add/Change Credit Card" to be directed to the Billing tab of your myTeachable dashboard

5) On the right hand side of the screen next to "Stored Credit Cards" you'll see a button to "Add a new card" - click this & enter in your new card details

6) Once you have entered your new card info, select to "Add Card" to save your card to your profile

THERE'S ONE MORE IMPORTANT STEP!

7) Next you'll need to click the drop down menu//down arrow to the right of the KIND MIND: Self Esteem School at the top half of the screen. You can then select the new card to be used for our school. You will want to be sure to complete this step and set the card for this school or the old card will still be utilized for payment attempts. Teachable doesn't currently have the ability to automatically ready your new card on file unless you do this!

My payment isn't going through.

Unfortunately since we host our content on Teachable, we are not able to view failed payments & only have the ability to view payments which have gone through on members accounts. Some common issues could be your billing zip is incorrect, insufficient funds, if your bank is placing a hold on the transaction due to it being suspected as fraudulent, or if you are attempting to purchase the Masterclass payment plan option & are not using a card which can process recurring charges. Beyond that, if the payment fails, this is typically something that can be sorted with your financial institution.

If you are entering all correct data on the check out page, and have contacted your financial insitution to ensure that they are not blocking the transaction on their end, please feel free to send us a message HERE with the following information, and we can submit a ticket to Teachable on your behalf to find out the reason code behind the payment failure:

1) Date & amount of payment attempt

2) Last 4 digits of card

3) Full name as it appears on card

4) CVC

5) Billing zip

6) Type of card

I forgot to apply my discount code!

The KIND MIND Discount Code Policy:

Unfortunately we are not able to retroactively apply discount codes to any of our a la carte workshops or the Masterclass membership. Therefore we ask if you are having issues at checkout, please do reach out to us PRIOR to purchasing so we can troubleshoot with you.

All of our discount codes are limited to one redemption per customer. Customers discovered to be in breach of this policy are subject to a cancellation of their account or purchase without refund.

If your plan cancels due to too many failed billing attempts, you may be subject to the current rate and may not be eligible for your previous rate from your cancelled plan. Please see our Billing Policy for details.

My discount code is not working.

Please make sure that you are entering the code in all CAPS and not using any spaces.

No discount codes are applicable to the pay in full Masterclass Membership payment option. Valid Masterclass Membership codes are only applicable to the 12 month payment plan pricing option.

Discount codes valid for the Masterclass Membership membership may vary from codes valid for a la carte workshops.

Please be sure to click the "Apply" button after entering the code & that you see the expected price reflected in the total before clicking to enroll!

Forgot to use a code at check out? Notice the code didn't apply to your purchase? Unfortunately, we are unable to retroactively make any changes once you've purchased, as all payments are made through the Teachable platform.

 
 

Technical Difficulties

Do I need wifi to access my account?

Yes, Wifi is needed to enjoy a seamless experience with all of the KIND MIND content. All of the KIND MIND workshops live online. For a more seamless expereince we suggest using Google Chrome. Teachable does have an iOS app that students are welcome to try, however, we cannot guarantee the app's functionality. Please refer to this article for more info.

Will I have access to the workshops from my phone?

Yes! This work was designed so you can do it from anywhere. Simply download the Teachable App and you'll be able to access your personal course work anytime. It's perfect to take to the beach, a park, or when your traveling. Don't forget your head phones so you can drift deeply into the rewiring guided meditations.

At this time the app is only available on iOS (Ugh! I know, right?!) BUT WAIT! We have a seemless work-around for this! Head over to www.kindmind.school to log in. There are more detailed instructions in the "How Do I Login To App" question below.

iOS versus Android: How do I login to the app?

All KIND MIND content is hosted on the Teachable platform and you will use the Teachable App to log in. The Teachable app is only available for iPhones & not for Androids, but Android users can alternatively download kindmind.school to your home screen for an app-like experience.

How to Use The App: Step-by-Step Guide In order to use the app, you’ll need to link your KIND MIND: Self Esteem School purchase to your myTeachable account. Once connected, you’ll be able to use your Teachable account login info on the app.

Follow these easy steps below to get started.

STEP 1:

If you don’t already have one, follow this link to create a myTeachable account: This is a separate account required to use the Teachable App, but there is no additional fee. You are now required to create a myTeachable account upon creating a school account with the KIND MIND: Self Esteem School, (ie enrolling in any of our courses or memberships) however, if you enrolled prior to this requirement, you will need to create one. See this article for more information on what a myTeachable account is and how to create one.

STEP 2:

Connect your myTeachable account to your a la carte workshop or your membership within the Kind Mind School.

HERE'S HOW:

Visit kindmind.school & login to your account.

Select ‘Edit Profile’ in the top right hand corner.

Select to Connect your myTeachable account.

Input your myTeachable account credentials that you created in the previous step.

STEP 3:

Download & login to the Teachable App with your myTeachable credentials!

You’re in! Download the content within your workshop or membership.

Some things to note:

*If you already have a myTeachable account, you can connect your KIND MIND courses to that account and won’t need to create a new.

**Currently, this app is only available in the Apple store. However, our 'droid users can still receive an app-like experience by saving www.kindmind.school to your home screen by following the steps below.

Visit kindmind.school from a mobile browser.

Select the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Choose “Add to home screen”.

My Log In Credentials aren't working.

Is the website taking you in a loop (back to the sign-in screen) after you already input your login credentials? Receiving an error message? If you are inputting your credentials and being taken in a loop (asked to input your credentials again/not recognizing you already logged in), this is a cookie & cache issue. Be sure your third-party cookies are enabled and check out this article for clarity on the different cookie issues with different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox.) If you have a red bar across the top of your screen with a message regarding cookies, please do the same. You may need to disable then re-enable your third-party cookies. If you're still having issues, it's always good to try and clear your cache as well as switch to Google Chrome as a browser. Additionally, you can try using an incognito browser.

For clearing cache & cookies on Chrome, follow the steps below:

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More.

Click More tools. Clear browsing data.

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

Click Clear data.

To delete history, cache, and cookies on iPhone, follow the steps below:

To clear your history and cookies, go to Settings > Safari, and tap Clear History and Website Data. ...

To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.

Lastly, it doesn't happen often but Squarespace, the platform that hosts all of our info and checkout stands, or Teachable, the platform that workshops and membership content, may experience an outage. To check if there is an outage on the platform, visit this site for Squarespace's status, and this site for Teachable's status. If one of the platforms are having an outage, we apologize for the inconvenience and there is no need to reach out. We are aware and unfortunately there’s nothing we can do except wait for Squarespace or Teachable to resolve there tech issues. Typically these outages are resolved in a few short hours. We sincerely thank you for patience and understanding!

 
 

Mental Health Resources

I'm feeling BIG feels - What should I do?

It is entirely possible that this work is drudging up and unlocking old memories causing you to have big feelings. It is important that you have the support that you need. This work is perfect to do along side a life coach or therapist.

In case of an immediate emergency, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by dialing 988 or 1-800-273-8255. Call 911, or go to a hospital emergency room.

Psycology Today (in the USA) has a directory specifically for your zip code. Inquire about sliding scale fee's if individual therapy isn't in your budget. If you're in school, please look up available resources on campus. Community support groups are also an affordable option.

Online solutions include**: Ootify, Better Help, or Talk Space.
